Beach with turquoise water suitable for swimming near the archaeological site of Filakopi.
This is an experience not to be missed: swim through a small rock hollow to find yourself outside the cellar and discover the other side of magnificent cliffs. The astonishing Papafragas beach is close to the archaeological site of Filakopi. It is an arm of the sea carved into the rock that advances to a very small beach. The turquoise water is of an almost perfect transparency, a real natural swimming pool, when the wind does not blow. The site is very interesting and, as a bonus, it is very pleasant for swimming.

De superbes falaises permettant d'accéder à une petit crique où l'on peut admirer le contraste entre le bleu turquoise de l'eau et le blanc de la falaise. Je conseille de nager en passant sous le tout petit arche pour le fun de l'expérience☺
The beaches of Milos are simply sublime. The limestone rocks are bright white, which contrasts with turquoise water. The beach Papafragas is worth a look. I advise to walk a hiking Fylakopi with Mandrakia (see more for the large lovers!) and walk along the coast simply. 4heures Expect (hot summer dayss in summer, it is no shade). The beach Papafragas is an excellent stop to swim and refresh.
The best at Pollonia and around
