MOULID SAYID AHMED EL-BADAWI

Since the th century, Tanta celebrates the birth of this Sufi saint, which was illustrated during fighting against the Crusaders. A moulid is a special event where participants come into trance dancing and singing the name of God. It is recommended to observe without directly participating; in fact, the police usually ensure that foreigners who want to get involved are removed from the police, lest they get problems.
