The completely renovated hotel is a charming hotel located with a panoramic view of the endless blue Aegean Sea. The renovation of the hotel was done with respect to the landscape and the existing buildings. The simple lines of the Cycladic architecture and the white colour of the buildings were preserved. Clarity and simplicity were among the main objectives. The aim was to modernize the rooms, create privacy and integrate water features. Natural materials such as wood, plaster, natural stone and cement floors were used in earthy colours combined with ropes. White colours dominate; however, small grey and black coloured details have also been used. Emphasis was placed on the lighting of each room, with light fixtures integrated into the masonry to create a warm and calm atmosphere. The aim of the design was to preserve the traditional Mykonian architecture enriched with modern and industrial design in details such as the showers, where possible, they have been integrated into the rooms from where the visitor can have a breathtaking view of the sea. Private pools or heated outdoor Jacuzzis have been added to the rooms, which face the sea. Where this was not possible, private gardens have been created, again incorporating some form of water feature and enriched with Mediterranean plants such as olives, rosemary, lavender, reeds, cacti and prickly pears.
