Restored church with Byzantine façade and nave illuminated by a rose window and stained glass by Lorin.
Dominating the city with its slender steeples, the church, restored in 2023, was built in 1852 on the site of a Romanesque church, of which the tower remains. The Byzantine-style facade, covered with a mosaic of white stone, brick and local blue granite, highlights the tympanum where masks and gargoyles swarm. The nave is illuminated by a rose window and stained-glass windows by Lorin in Chartres, and the paintings and altarpiece dating from 1868 are of outstanding beauty.
