Housed in a former bourgeois house, the Musée de la Ville recreates 18th- and 19th-century interiors and the lives of Vianden's inhabitants through images, objects and musical installations. Completely restructured in 2009, it presents several themes: "Bakery of the 50s", "Meat, from the Celts to the present day", "Vaudeville" and finally "Edmond de la Fontaine, dit Dicks", dedicated to Luxembourg's national poet of the 19th century.
