This is the place to see the famous , Luxembourg's typical terracotta birds.
The Eimaischen takes place on Easter Monday in the old town, mainly in the Fish Market Street, as well as in the traditional potters' village of Nospelt. Having become a large popular market open to exhibitors from Luxembourg and elsewhere, the Eimaischen offers numerous stands for demonstrations of pottery, handicrafts, ceramics and especially the famous whistling birds, symbol of this celebration: the Péckvillercher.
