Originally created as a reserve in 1976 to preserve the wild buffalo population, this national park is now a prime bird-watching area. It is home to over 800 species. It is the country's smallest park, covering 175 km2 of wetlands. Some species are extremely rare, and migratory birds stop here from November to February.
