The Belize City Post Office offers a variety of communication services, including express mail and domestic express mail. There are also telephone numbers for district post offices, such as Queen Square, Ladyville, Corozal, Orange Walk, Belmopan, San Ignacio, Benque Viejo, Dangriga, Punta Gorda, Placencia, Independence, San Pedro, Caye Caulker and Santa Elena.

If you wish to use a local number during your stay, you must go through this office which allows you to acquire a Digicell SIM card (which offers the best coverage in the whole country) and register it with the national communication company. Be careful, to be able to use your SIM card, you must integrate it into an unlocked phone, or buy a phone on site. Many are on sale in the shopping malls on the adjoining Albert Street
