SOUK OMDURMAN

The central Souk (markazi) of Omdurman is located near the Grande mosque (al-masjid al-kbir). So it's closest to the Nile. It is especially interesting for its alleys where the leather and wood are worked, or sold the fabrics. The best memories are to find two lanes north of the post office.
