Travel Guide Mazyr (Мазыр)

Located on the right bank of the Pripyat, Mazyr is one of the oldest cities in Belarus and certainly one of the most charming, surrounded by lush green meadows, in full Polésie. Its narrow narrow streets give it an undeniable stamp, but especially unusual for Belarus. The city has preserved some interesting monuments, such as the monastery of the Bernardins (Монастырь Бернардинцев) founded in 1645, the cathedral and the Catholic church Saint-Michel (Собор и Костёл Святого Михаили Архангела) dating back to the th century. The city also has a large beach on the left bank of the Pripyat as well as a ski resort.
