BRASLAV (БРАСЛАВ)
It is the centre of the park and its main seaside resort. Founded in 1065, this former town of 9 000 inhabitants stretches over the shores of Lake Dryvyaty. Enterprise retained its appearance in the early 1900 th century with its small wooden houses from the years 1930 to, completely immersed in greenery. From the hill Zamkavaja opens a magnificent panorama of the city and the lakes, and its foot is the Orthodox church of L'Assomption (Успенская церковь), built in 1897 in pseudo-Russian style. Inside, you can admire icons of the th and th centuries. In front of it is the Catholic Church of the Nativity (костёл Рождества Божьей Матери) (1897), in neo-Gothic style. On the main altar is an icon of the Virgin, considered miraculous and venerated by crowds of pilgrims every 22 August. In the forest, a few kilometres from the city, there is a small zoo where you can see the main species that inhabit the park. In Enterprise you will find bank, post office, Internet café and hospital.
