BREST REGIONAL MUSEUM (КРАЕВЕДЧЕСКИЙ ОБЛАСТНОЙ БРЕСТСКИЙ КРАЕВЕДЧЕСКИЙ)

Located next to the fortress, you can reach the museum outside the Kholmski gate. This museum was built around a vast archaeological site where the remains of the old town of Berestje were found, on the ruins of which Brest was gradually confined. It retains the archaeological remains of more than thirty square constructions, of about 3 m ², of pine wood, dating from the th century, plus a large exhibition of objects from the th and th centuries.
