EGLISE DE LA TRANSFIGURATION DU CHRIST SAUVEUR (ПРЕОБРАЖЕНСКАЯ-ПРЕОБРАЖЕНСКАЯ ЦЕРКОВЬ)

This imposing white church with a 35 metre tower overlooks the city. In its history, it has undergone several métamorphoses. Built at the end of the th century for Protestant worship, it was transferred to Catholics. In 1833, she passed to the Orthodox. Opened in 1961, it reopened its doors in 1977, allowing its followers to access the Belarusian handicraft Museum installed in its premises. It was only in 1990 that it returned to the Orthodox community and became a real place of worship.
