The Bali Room

The Bali room takes its name from its distinctive outdoor bathroom, inspired by the Balinese tyle in Indonesia. Built on the site of an old barn that housed sheep and goats when the former Berber owner still lived there, it comprises 5 parts. The bedroom itself is split in two, with a mezzanine sleeping area featuring a double bed, reversible air conditioning (hot-cold) and mosquito netting. Below, a relaxation area with a bench, a small table and a hearth. The third part comprises the interior bathroom, with a shower area and washbasin, as well as a low-oil radiator and a large free-standing mirror. The fourth comprises a large separate WC. The fifth is a vast outdoor bathroom, with a pleasure garden, a bathtub with a panoramic view of the mountain opposite, and a shower under a banana tree! The Bali room is located on the top floor of our Berber home, overlooking an inner courtyard with a garden equipped with tables, chairs and deckchairs, as well as panoramic solarium areas with deckchairs.

The Aoulime room

Our Aoulime room takes its name from the exceptional view it enjoys of the summit of Jebel Aoulime ("trekking in Morocco"), at an altitude of 3500 meters. This is our largest room, a true suite, with two twin beds (which can be moved closer together!), but which could easily accommodate a family with two children. It has a large sitting area with benches, coffee table, carpet and hearth. Numerous windows provide light and ventilation. The en-suite bathroom is a good size, with shower and WC, and an oil-bath radiator. Depending on availability, you may also have direct access to our unique outdoor bathroom, with its garden, panoramic bathtub and shower under the banana trees (see "Bali Room"). A beautiful, traditional-style terrace offers stunning views of Jebel Aoulime, the valley and the spring below. A hammock and chaise longue invite you to laze away... The final feature of this room is that it is isolated from the main house, offering greater privacy.

The Kori room

The Kori room owes its name to the fact that it was part of the stables, including a shelter for cows and rabbits. This room overlooks the upper inner courtyard and has access to the solarium and rooftops of the house. It is perhaps the most beautifully decorated of all, in a warm African style. It includes a mezzanine sleeping area with a double bed, mosquito netting and reversible air-conditioning (hot-cold). The lower level features a small sitting area and a fireplace. Like all the other bedrooms, it has a private bathroom.

The Carob room

Historically, the Carob Room was used to store and dry carobs, the fruit of the carob tree. In those days, not so long ago, there were no windows at all! Although it's the smallest room, it's also the cutest and the one with the largest private sheltered terrace. It features a double bed, reversible air conditioning (hot-cold) and mosquito netting. It opens onto a vast traditional terrace with a clay floor, sofas, cushions and a hammock. The view is sublime. Opposite the bedroom, and allocated exclusively to it, is a good-sized bathroom... semi-troglodytic! It was dug into the mountainside and is 3/4 buried. It contains a toilet, shower and washbasin. The Caroube bedroom is on the second floor of the house, and opens onto the old, traditional clay gallery.

The Agadir room

The Agadir room is so called because its side window overlooks a pretty palm tree and the ruins of the village's ancient agadir. This is the longest room, in the purest traditional Berber style. It has two twin beds, and can accommodate an extra bed if required. Reversible air-conditioning (hot-cold), mosquito netting, carpets... An en-suite bathroom with WC, washbasin and shower, all buried and carved out of the mountain: a real troglodytic bathroom, as in the Caroube room. The Agadir room is on the second floor, overlooking the old traditional clay gallery.
