ZAWIYA OF SIDI ABDESSLAM

The marabout Sidi Abdesslam spent his last years in this village in the 16th century. Its mausoleum with its green roof and all in blue zelliges attracts pilgrims from all over Morocco every year who come to pray and pray for its blessing. The village is located at the bottom of a small valley in the middle of olive trees. In the distance, you can admire the old troglodytic dwellings that have now been converted into warehouses.
