FÊTE DES CERISES

Since 1919, every year in June, Sefrou hosts the Cherry Festival, which has been listed as part of the intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO since 2012. The Sefrou cherry is a very sweet black cherry. The moussem in honour of its harvest, gives way to numerous animations, exhibitions, concerts, contests, games and election of "Miss Cerisette" with parade in float. The demonstration usually lasts four days. You should know that the candidates for the title do not only come from Sefrou but from all over Morocco.
