This emerald-water lake is home to one of the park's greatest diversity of animals and offers an exceptional viewpoint.
Rich in nutrients, the emerald waters of the Amarga Lagoon have a high salt content and are home to one of the park's greatest animal diversity. Through evaporation, a white layer of salt is deposited on the shore. Another colour among many others for this exceptional viewpoint: it is a golden location for photographing the Torres. In good weather, the towers reflect beautifully in the lagoon. A colony of flamingos lives there during the summer. We can continue towards Lake Sarmiento to cross the guanacos.
