The Tea Factory was founded in 1841 by Mackwoods, one of the largest tea producers in the country, and has been in existence for just over 170 years. The guided tour takes you through the various rooms and stages necessary for the manufacture of tea: dryer, fermenter, sorter, dryer... A guide (free of charge) explains the whole process and the subtleties between green, black and white tea. There is a shop and a beautiful tasting area on the terrace facing the plantations.

Ne pas faire la visite un lundi car les cueilleuses ne travaillant pas le dimanche, la production ne démarre que le mardi. On peut quand même visiter l'usine gratuitement même si vide et une dégustation de thé est offerte. Pour ceux en manque de sucrerie, un gâteau au chocolat (payant) l'accompagne si vous le souhaitez .
