Ramboda, 24 km northwest of Nuwara Eliya, is a small mountain town between Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, where you can stop to admire the 109 m high Ramboda Falls and the beautiful green landscape. A few dozen meters from the falls, the Ramboda road tunnel, inaugurated in 2008, is the longest in Sri Lanka (225 m). You will find charming accommodations as well as numerous tea factories in the vicinity of this small town and its beautiful waterfalls. In addition to the visit and the tea tasting, always free, you can also have lunch in a splendid setting.
