A museum that will appeal to children and vintage vehicle enthusiasts alike! The museum features some forty restored vintage vehicles used by firefighters from the 1930s to the 1980s. The hand pumps from the 1800s take us back to the origins of the term "firefighter": they were used as early as the 18th century to extinguish fires, at a time when the term "firefighter" referred to the craftsman who made the pumps. A great leap back in time!
