Raymond Gourgues had a dream: to open a bookshop specializing in antiquarian books. To his great delight, his wish came true in 1980, in the pretty hamlet of Le Somail, on the banks of the Canal du Midi. Today, his granddaughter Nelly is the guardian of his treasure. In the beautifully refurbished 1,000 m² barn, you'll find over 60,000 books on the shelves! Spread over three levels, you'll find paintings by local artists, as well as books by authors published in small quantities. A warm welcome and expert advice are guaranteed.

Closed from November 15 to 30. Closed December 25 and January 1. Low season: open daily from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. High season: open daily and on public holidays from 9am to 12pm and from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. Free admission.
