The Base and its surroundings were long the undisputed stronghold of traditional pottery. Today, thanks to a new generation of potters, the village has a worldwide reputation for contemporary ceramics. The chapel, which became museum, traces the history of 7 centuries of pottery. Remarkable traditional th, th and th-century pottery is presented as well as a rich collection of pictorial pottery from the famous Talbot Dynasty. Each year, the museum exhibits a thematic exhibition.
