Ideally located on the edge of Mozambique's canal and at the mouth of a river, Antsanitia Resort overlooks a long white sandy beach and offers a magnificent panorama of fishermen's returns and returns. The hotel is truly well integrated into its natural environment with very large area and very spaced wooden bungalows surrounded by large vegetation. It was Tsiravay who accompanied us to the sacred lake which leads the gardeners' team and they put heart at work.

Christophe, his leader, explains that more than just a hotel, it is a project whose vocation is to improve the standard of living of neighboring villages. Employees are already mainly from these villages, but Christophe is proud to present the large nursery and the extensive replanting program. This resulted in the restoration of vegetation that disappeared in the vicinity. The same nursery showed villagers that a simple replanted pineapple hat was repelled and produced well in the following year. So all the gardens have a few feet. Environmental training and awareness allow for a protected environment. While in the vicinity of the airport some villages seemed to be covered with plastic bags, Tsiravay was proud of this preserved environment and we felt his pride in the uplifting of telling us that the mangrove was developing well.

It is a true family atmosphere and a real harmony with nature that we find in Antsanitia. As lunch ends on a few roasted mangoes and vanilla ice cream, we realize that we haven't taken the time to take the pool. Some Malagasy families and tourists took place. We're going to join them for a few hours before going back to new adventures.
