The Relais de la Montagne d'Ambre is an old building with an old-fashioned charm, offering a magnificent (though distant) view of the bay of Diego and rustic but charming period rooms. The environment around the hotel is tropical. The bungalows perched in the huge lychee tree have character, nature lovers will appreciate. In the restaurant, honor to the Malagasy dishes and the chicken coconut. Henriette, alias "Mama Be", also offers cooking classes.

Je viens de passer au restaurant la Montagne d'Ambre. Il faudrait revoir votre avis. Désormais que Mama B n'est plus, l'endroit s'est dégradé, la nourriture est digne d'une gargotte de rue mais 10 fois plus cher, le service est désagréable, et un crocodile croupit dans une mare de 3 m2... Je ne comprends pas comment on peut encore y envoyer les touristes. Ce restaurant donne désormais une mauvaise image de Joffreville.
