Scuba diving and snorkeling

Yannick and his team, settled in the area since 2004, offer scuba diving, sport fishing, whale watching (in season), underwater hunting, kitesurfing (Yan is a certified Iko level 2 instructor), stand up paddle, hobby cat, vezo pirogue trips, mangrove trips at high tide, and guided quad tours along the coast. Professional, serious and friendly. Also "downwind" circuits all along the coast, that is to say 100 km of lagoon. Another serious address in Mangily: Mangily Scuba Dive, next to Chez Alex.

Scuba diving and snorkeling

Vatosoa. In the lagoon. 10 m. Beautiful coral beds. Sometimes leaf-fish, stone-fish and barracudas.

Coral garden. In the lagoon. 16 m. Along the reef, surmullets, gaterins, stone-fish or crocodile-fish, heterocongers...

Akio. South pass. 30 m. Crossing of the southern pass: red carp, jacks, barracudas, eagle rays, groupers, napoleons... Quite a fun dive.

Massif des Roses. In the lagoon. 6 m. Small reserve, it is here that baptisms are often scheduled. The coral is damaged but rich in small fauna.

Cathedral. North pass. 18 m. Just at the exit of the North pass, to be done at the tide gauge. A series of caves, one of the nicest. Big groupers, potatoes, loaches, snappers and some napoleons... A bit difficult to pass.

Snappers Point. Outside the lagoon. 23 meters. Nice fauna (snappers, fusiliers, surmulets, capuchins, groupers, small napoleons...) and good coral cover.

Bevato. Outside the lagoon. 16-25 m. A fishy site, with a wall of 8 m. The coral plateau is not great, but the fauna is rich. It is possible to meet some nice specimens of malabar groupers.

Tortuga. Outside the lagoon. 23 meters. Beautiful and diversified corals and active fauna (morays, rays, platax, snappers, lobsters, crocodile-fish)... Some turtles with luck!

Juliette cave. South pass. 23 m. Along the north wall of the south channel : fusiliers, coachmen, unicorns, napoleons, barracudas, jacks... Drifting only, beautiful underwater relief.
