CHEZ ALAIN
Located at the entrance to the town, a stone's throw from the taxi-brousse station, this address offers bungalows and rooms.
At the entrance to the town, a stone's throw from the taxi-brousse station, this established address offers charming bungalows and even more comfortable rooms, scattered around a large, relaxing garden. Carved objects are scattered around, the place is charming and well-maintained. The food is excellent (zebu fillet, lobster...). The bar is popular with residents thanks to the welcome, availability and great kindness of Sophie and Emeric, the young owners. As a bonus, there's a lovely swimming pool with bar and shaded terrace for guests!

Disliked · I initially booked the standard double room and was assigned bungalow no.4. It's important to note that while the bungalow had a private bathroom, it lacked a toilet. This meant inconvenient trips to the common bathrooms near the swimming pool, particularly at night. Moreover, bungalow no. 4 felt stuffy and dusty. I would advise future guests to consider spending a bit more for a superior room to enhance their overall experience.
Overall, while there were initial inconveniences with the standard double room, the upgrade, friendly staff, and delightful dining options contributed to a positive experience at Chez Alain.
