At the gates of Isalo, a charming hotel in a superb oasis of greenery (40 ha). A top of the range address. Swimming pool, tennis, horseback riding, airfield, via ferrata, high quality spa... The complex even boasts an orchard and an organic vegetable garden. The rooms (in stone bungalows, an originality copied unceasingly since the opening of the hotel) are vast, and of an exquisite taste. Very good restaurant. Aperitif in the middle of the rocks for the sunset, followed by an exquisite meal with 100% fresh products... In short, the great class!

In a most majestic setting, with the Isalo massif in the background. We have the choice between small and simple paillotes, but romantic, and well decorated bungalows, which are very correct for the price. Private toilets in all rooms, small solar light in case of breakdown. The restaurant is pleasant and the food is good, with fresh homemade pasta at attractive prices, cooked on charcoal. At the request of the customers, "grill party" followed by a "dust ball" in the open air. We like it!

Martina (a German who speaks our language very well) has created a small "village" perfectly integrated, with a beautiful view on the Isalo massif, in a very quiet place. It is a simple and relaxing place, with a nice swimming pool and a botanical and aromatic garden. Many fruit trees have also been planted... the home-made jams and juices are delicious. The rooms are well kept, comfortable and most have a terrace with a superb view. A pleasant restaurant on an open terrace. A nice address, we recommend it !

The most comfortable structure in the village. It's a pity that it's not better placed in an attractive site (it's a bit of a permanent site)! But the rooms are spacious, comfortable, with separate WC and a little character. Even the economic rooms are the right ones. The restaurant «Grilled zébu», just next to it, has a nice bamboo ceiling, but one would feel a little in a station hall; cooking, however, has left good memories. New rooms were under construction in June 2013 in a large building on the rear.

10 bungalows in thatched roof with private health (hot water), bungalows were enlarged in 2014. A very good value for money, especially as the site, with sunsets on the massif in the distance, features a heated swimming pool (with sun loungers). Note that the upper bungalow is larger and the more class. Excellent welcome to Epicure (finally a Malagasy hotel manager… nice!) and all his team.

In the middle of the city, an open address for a long time: The restaurant, a little décati (interior or terrace), testifies to this. On the rear, the rooms are divided between a large stone building on two floors and more recent units on the side. The whole is correct without being fantastic. In the absence of Roger, however, we were somewhat casually… Also manages a equipped camp 8 km south in the Isalo, called L'Oasis.
