With its cuvette location, Guanajuato offers the possibility of many points of view. It is enough to climb up the heights to dominate the city and enjoy a pretty grandiose overview. One of the most famous places is the Pípila Monument: this huge statue holding a hand-torch is Juan José de los Reyes Martinez. You can walk from the Callejón del Beso, a signposted trail, or via the funicular.
