The orchestra (Filharmonia e Kosovës, Filharmonija Kosova) gives two to three concerts a month except in summer. It was formed in 2000, initially as a string ensemble and later as a chamber orchestra. It frequently needs to call on guest artists from patrons. Concerts are most often held in the Catholic Church of St. Anthony of Padua (Kisha Shën Ndou), 1.5 km south of the city centre, in the Ulpiana district. They are also held in the "Red Hall" (Salla e kuqe) in the Palace of Youth and Sports.
