In the main street, you will find many old buildings, many of which are listed. It is also one of the commercial centers of Zemun with its stores and banks. At no. 9, the Špirta house, fully decorated in pink and white, built in 1855 by a rich Aroumain merchant in a mixture of romantic and neo-gothic styles. At no. 8, on the way back to Belgrade, the post office, painted in the same colors, looks more imposing with its neo-Renaissance style and baroque elements.
