Covering an area of about 5 hectares, this is the only botanical garden in the city that is officially under the Faculty of Biology of the University of Belgrade and is home to some 300 local, European and exotic botanical species.
In addition, nearly 1,000 species of tropical and subtropical plants are cultivated in a huge 500m2 greenhouse. You will also find the Japanese garden particularly beautiful during the sakura flowering period (April-May).
