Petit Futé's opinion on KMN
You are in a hurry and tired of communicating in a foreign language with servers, so go to the canteen! The name KMN takes its roots from the first letters of the first names of its founder who are none other than a father, a mother and their two daughters: Katarina, Miloje, Marija and Nada. Opened in the 2000s, this canteen is an establishment frequented by locals, office workers and students, and very few tourists, which is partly explained by its somewhat hidden location (although in the city centre just a stone's throw from Kneza Miloša Street). The menu is vast and changes every day: daily specials, several salads to choose from, soups and grills, desserts, pastries. It's not fine cuisine but it's efficient and fast and the addition is very light. Pleasant surprise: the ladies at the checkout speak a little English. Possibility to take away, so don't hesitate because the tasting area is a little austere.
