CHEZ BOUBA - LE THIOKAAM

World cuisine restaurant
4/5

Between lagoon and ocean, this restaurant enjoys a superb natural setting for lunch. Sitting in the shade of a straw hut, you will eat excellent lobsters to order, mangrove oysters, sea urchins or grilled fish. After you are delighted with hearty dishes, you can enjoy the site and laze peacefully on one of the deckchairs on the edge of the lagoon. The staff is also there with small onions to complete the service. The place is also pleasant at dinner, when the sun disappears behind the ocean.

Nestled at the top of a golden sand dune, this pleasant gargote boasts a lovely panoramic view over the lagoon. It takes just a few minutes by boat to get there, enough time to admire a few pelicans. Malick welcomes you like a friend in a peaceful, relaxing setting. Enjoy hearty plates of oysters, sea urchins, shrimps sautéed in garlic, braised fish or monkfish kebabs, before indulging in a siesta on the deckchairs or hammocks. A little Eden between lagoon and ocean!

LES PETITES DAMES DE GUÉRÉO

World cuisine restaurant

Oysters, sea urchins, shrimps, mussels... Seafood lovers will be delighted at this makeshift restaurant on the edge of the lagoon. The courageous women of Guéréo have organized themselves to serve the day's catch on long, shaded wooden tables. In a jovial, authentic atmosphere, you sit down wherever there's room, next to locals or expatriates with whom you might meet. No drinks are sold on site, so remember to bring your own!

CHEZ RASTA

World cuisine restaurant

With your feet in the sand, it feels a little bit like the middle of nowhere at Chez Rasta. But what a setting! A singular decor, in the colors of Bob Marley, overlooking the lagoon. Everything is done to make you feel good: the welcome is friendly, the dishes tasty, the atmosphere relaxing. Rasta, taking care of its customers, will not fail to make you taste its famous Viagra tea, an infusion of plants whose recipe remains a secret. And for those whose siesta call would be too strong, deckchairs are available for guests. A little corner of paradise!
