The red cube of the Tranchant Group's Basel casino has been part of the local landscape for several years now. Since November1, 2008, it is no longer the only adrenaline pumping venue for gamblers in search of a quick and unexpected fortune. The town of Blotzheim is home to another gambling venue, the Casino Barrière Biotzheim, the third in Alsace to bear the Barrière name. With its two hundred and fifty slot machines, it aims to appeal to a predominantly French and German audience.
