This 69-room motel is part of a chain, like so many others in Botswana. It is useful because of its location, and the rooms are spacious and pleasant. At the reception, there is a lounge with computers. There is also a gym and two restaurants, The Wimpy and The Palm Restaurant. They offer good food, but nothing special. In fact, you sometimes have to go through the fast-food restaurant to get to the reception. The other branches of Desert Sands are in Gabs and Francistown.
