Xakanaxa camp on Mboma Island offers twelve tents, each with a wooden deck and deckchairs.

Xakanaxa Camp opened in 1952, a decade before the Moremi Reserve. It has since been modernized. Twelve tents each have a wooden deck with deckchairs. Boma, bar and a large swimming pool complete the reception areas. A second pool is located right on the water's edge where hippos can be seen. The staff is very friendly and professional. The camp has a beautiful location. It is not uncommon to come across baboons and guibs in harness!
