MOKORO IN THE SOUTH DELTA
A safari in Botswana is not complete without a mokoro excursion. This proposed activity in the high-end camps is possible in Moremi only at Mboma Island, i. e. at the end of the reserve. As it is possible that you will not be driving the visit so far, it is recommended to spend a day, if not two days and one night, on excursions mokoro directly from Maun. All accommodation and tour operators offer this exit in one of the places of the village community, just north of Maun, at the southern tip of the Delta delta. It is recommended that Ditshipi's village be given priority: if it is further - about 2 hours drive to 45 min - it has more beautiful and varied scenery. If you don't have enough time, the village of Borro will do the business for a 3-hour walk in Mokoro!
