The Voies d'Eau du Hainaut association aims to promote tourist sites linked to waterways and bodies of water, in close collaboration with tourist offices. Notable sites include the Canal du Centre historique and its fascinating hydraulic elevator technology, the Strépy-Thieu funicular elevator and its canal bridge... The association offers boat cruises, electric boat and bicycle hire, as well as a small exhibition on the waterways.
