Leaving Kluane National Park north on the Alaska Highway, you will arrive at Destruction Bay. Despite its name, the road to Destruction Bay is beautiful with a breathtaking view of the surrounding barren landscape. Apart from its scenery, the village is not worth a visit. However, the Congdon Creek Territorial Campground is without a doubt the most beautiful, located on the edge of the bay. There are gravel trails accessible by car that will take you to some of the best spots. But it's best to be experienced and well-informed beforehand because bears are prowling the area. Leaving Destruction Bay, there are 200 km to go before reaching Alaska.
