Cox Bay Beach, located just south of Chesterman, is a renowned surfing spot where you can easily ride through Tofino. Other activities, such as longboard, paddle stand up, can also be easily practiced there. It is a pleasant beach to walk to the Sunset Point Walk north and watch the natural lakes formed by the tide. Parking is free and dogs are allowed on the beach.
