MOKAPU & ULUA BEACH

To access these two beaches, you must first park in the parking lot near the Wailea Marriott Hotel. A small path nearby leads directly to the beach: on the right is Mokapu Beach and on the left is Ulua Beach. The coral reef protects the waters from currents and makes swimming safe despite the absence of lifeguards. Ulua Beach is ideal for snorkeling and for beginners in scuba diving. The downside is that its clear waters attract many people. Mokapu Beach, however, is much quieter. Showers and toilets.
