At the same time as the Hawaiian cultural Centre and the museum of astronomy, this centre offers many pedagogical elements on the research conducted at the summit of Mauna Kea where nothing is really explained (unless we take a guided tour with an agency). To understand what is happening in Mauna Kea, it is strongly recommended that you visit Imiloa Astronomy Center before. Everything makes sense once we're at the top and it's exciting.

Pas de projection planétarium le matin (ou enfin 1 seul choix ; à la date de notre visite, lié à l'exposition parallèle : pliage d'origami !!! aucun rapport)
Trop complexe pour ceux ne maîtrisant pas l'anglais (plutôt technique & spécifique) et donc usant en famille quand chacun demande la traduction de ce qu'il est train de lire/regarder/faire.
Personnellement nous n'avons pas trouvé que le fait d'aller au centre soit un préalable à la montée au sommet du Mauna Kea (mais cela dépend aussi des connaissances de chacun tant au niveau culturel qu'au niveau astronomie).
Ce que nous avons le plus apprécié : le film de découverte et vie à bord de l'ISS
