Mauna Loa Macadamia Factory allows you to discover the process of elaboration of the "macadamia nut", Hawaii's flagship product
We walk through macadamia nut plantations that stretch over several hectares. In the Visitor's Center, one can taste nuts while a video describes the process of their harvest. A souvenir store sells packets of nuts in all flavors, packaged for air transport. Please note that the factory is closed on weekends, so it is best to visit during the week to discover the process of making Hawaii's flagship product.

La visite est gratuite, nous avons bien aimer voir comment les noix sont mises en paquet. La boutique vendent des paquets sortie d’usine donc moins cher. Avant d’acheter on a droit a une degustation gratuite pour pouvoir choisir le gout qu’on préfère.
