Volcano House Hotel offers stunning views of the Halemaʻumaʻu crater. This relaxed establishment, housed in a restored building dating from 1846, offers sober, welcoming rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Some rooms offer views of the volcano. Simple bungalows with barbecue and shared bathroom are also available at the Namakanipaio campground. The hotel features a casual restaurant with views of the crater, as well as a cocktail lounge where live music is regularly organized. It also offers a bicycle rental service and daily guided walking tours of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Parking is free, and the hotel is accessible to disabled guests.
