KAWAILOA BEACH

Long beach extending from Puaena Point to Waimea. Very few bathers but many local surfers. This beach would have many secret spots that only the Hawaiiens know and want to keep for them. The break on Laniakea Beach, to the south, called Lani's, is, however, «general public». There are also many marine turtles on this Laniakea Beach, which earned it the nickname of Turtle Beach. A little farther north, Chun's Reef is also an excellent surf spot, much more accessible to beginners.
