Natural and botanical park with nearly 6,000 species of tropical plants, including some rare or endemic to Hawaii

Cultural and botanical park with nearly 6,000 species of tropical plants, including some very rare or endemic to Hawaii. Interesting free guided tours take place throughout the day (12:30 pm, 1 pm). On the program: history of native plants, Hawaiian games and stories of local legends. A short 2.5 km round trip walk takes you to the Waimea waterfalls, which are open for swimming, for a refreshing break! In the summer, concerts, movie nights and full moon tours are organized.

L'entrée a augmenté à 16$ sinon c'est une promenade très agréable au milieu de plantes tropicales de différentes régions du monde. Le site archéologique présente un grand intérêt et la reconstitution des habitations traditionnelles est plutôt bien faite. La cascade est de moindre intérêt et la baignade se fait avec un gilet prête par les lifeguard. Un bon point à la boutique ou l'on peut trouver quelques souvenirs originaux.
