DOWNTOWN HONOLULU

Located between Ala Moana Boulevard and Chinatown, Downtown is the historic center of Honolulu and the major financial and legislative hub of Hawaii, as evidenced by the official buildings in Bishop Square (Senate, House of Representatives, Capitol). But it is also the business district of Honolulu where banks and headquarters of major Hawaiian companies are concentrated. The streets are therefore very lively during the week and much less so on weekends. Tours on the theme of architecture are offered there.
