A really romantic place to watch the sunset together, and a very good surf and boogie board spot
The beautiful boardwalk along the beach makes Kuhio Beach a really romantic place to watch the sunset together or the hula show that takes place in the early evening (6:30 pm) on Saturdays. It is also a very good spot for surfing and boogie-boarding. It is bordered on the north by Waikiki beach (with the statue of Duke) and on the south by the pier on which it is good to walk to take some pictures. The part protected by the stone seawall is protected from waves and possible sea urchins, ideal for children.
