GRAY’S BEACH

In the 1920's, a small hotel called "Gray's by the sea" was right in front of this beach, which gave it its name. To find it today you should look for the Sheraton and the Halekulani Hotel. It is the ideal beach for swimming thanks to a long corridor protected by the coral reef. To surf, you have to paddle and go looking for the wave off the coast; you just have to join the other surfers that you can see in the distance. The waves tend to nibble the beach, not very practical to put your towel down but pleasant for the walk.
