TEXAS HALL OF STATE

Located just minutes from downtown Dallas, this majestic building is unquestionably the figurehead of Fair Park.

Built by the State of Texas for the 1936 Centennial Exposition, the Hall of State has hosted events in honor of presidential, royal, and diplomatic visits for over seventy years. The few exhibits inside aren't worth a look - the highlight is really the building's Art Deco architecture. However, you can go inside to experience the Texas Hall of Heroes.
